The hotel has magnificent location by the lake with easy access to a beautiful trail leading to town center and very welcoming and really good employees with the manager who was delightful.

Truly enjoyed staying at the functional and large room with a double bed. The breakfast selection was good hot with the wakatipu grill and great view and barista coffee;))

It was a wonderful place, had absolutely exceptional staff with a second staff member around. The rooms were exceptionally nice and view of the lake was particularly good! The hotel was in the remote setting in the restaurant on the waterfront.

Its location away from the central Queenstown township was favourable and magnificent. We where offered a hot breakfast with real coffee and NZD39pp-cheaper options and the wakatipu grill.

The location stunning and favourable very close to the sidewalk outside. Right by the restaurant on the waterfront, an easy drive or water taxi and the city centre of Queenstown. Good sized and functional rooms, exceptional view of the lake.

Location - amazing, next to Queenstown by water-taxi, a good golf course for those who likes golf and the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu. Clean modern facilities and a warm and adequate breakfast with the wakatipu grill, great view and real coffee. Good pool, parking outside.

Stayed there for trip and had a wonderful experience, so I would stay here again. It was a gorgeous hotel with lake views and premium Wi-Fi. The venue was in a remote location near to the Frankton shops and the lake and walking track.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic in every respect, had pleasant staff with a second staff member around. The location was marvellous and gorgeous for me, on the frequent water taxi.

All in all everything was exceptional, had a such great stay with superb customer service. The hotel's position was marvellous and magnificent, just off the resturants, transport and central Queenstown. Local cuisine was served in the outdoor restaurant.

Hotel’s breakfast was good hot with real coffee and NZD39pp-cheaper options and the wakatipu grill and could satisfy any taste. The location was comfy in the pretty quiet area.

I had a 4-night stay at Doubletree By Hilton and I must say, the cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional. They were spacious and tidy, just as shown in the photos. The view from my room was stunning, overlooking the lake. The staff were helpful and understanding when I requested a change of room back to my initially booked room at DoubleTree. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The Kawarau Hotel was fantastic. The room was clean & well serviced, the buffet breakfast was delicious & the staff were friendly & helpful. Highly recommended & we will be staying here again.
